Orders will be dispatched within 24 hours from receipt of payment. The usual delivery time, once your order has been dispatched, is around 2-5 business days to most metro areas, but can take up to 14 business days for rural areas across Australia.
All goods are sent with tracking numbers and require a signature on delivery.
If an attempted delivery is made & the customer is not available in both instances notification will be left for pick up from either the Post Office or the Depot.
The customer is responsible for re-dispatch & postage costs associated with non- collection of goods.
Please inspect your delivery immediately as it arrives and notify us on the customer service number if there are any problems. If you have received a damaged item, we need to be notified within 24 hours of receipt. We may request photos for evidence so we can assist quickly.
If you have not received the item that you ordered, please notify us on the customer service number or email within 24 hours. You will be required to provide photos of the item and the bar code on the packaging as well as a VIN number for your vehicle so we can verify the claim and rectify. If the goods have been sent incorrectly, Direct Car Parts will pay all associated postage costs to resolve the problem.
If the item received is due to incorrect selection and the correct item is required, Direct Car Parts will accept the item as a return within 30 days at 100% of purchase value providing the item and if the packaging is in new condition. This is for exchange of goods only, if a refund is required a 15% re-stocking fee applies. However, the purchaser will be required to pay the postage to return the original item and resend the replacement. Items must be returned or a tracking number supplied before replacements will be sent.
Refunds without exchange can be issued if you are not happy with your purchase if accepted within 30 days of purchase. The item must be in original packaging & original condition. A 15% restocking fee will be retained as well as the initial costs associated with postage.
Cancellation of order will incur a 15% re-stocking fee for processing & administration. Direct Car parts do not cover any postage the buyer is responsible for in the return of an item for a refund or return.
The buyer is responsible for all postage costs associated with assessment & replacement of the goods. All our new items are covered with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty (unless otherwise stated). The warranty covers the replacement of the part only and does not cover any labour, fitting or other expenses. Our liability under no circumstances will exceed the original purchase cost of the item. Items we sell are intended to be fitted by qualified installers and warranty will be void due to improper installation.
